  • Pictures After My First Attempt At Detailing

I had my first crack at detailing today and I'm quite please with how the car came out.

Learnt a lot (Mostly how tiring it is!) There were a lot of tar spots, not too many swirls, but discovered a few light scratches and chips in the clear coat.
Biggest issue I found was corrosion on the wheels, but I'll post in the detailing section for advice on those.

    All Autoglym products.
    Rinse
    Shampoo using the TB Method
    Rinse
    Dry
    Super Resin Polish
    Ultra Deep Shine Polish

except: Chrome polish on the tail pipes and Back To Black.

    More Pictures to follow.

Problem with SRP is it has silicon in it and is not a traditional polish as it has final coat properties in it, so is less effective at removing swirls/marks etc.
Far better to use a polish then wax afterwards for a better, more durable finish.

Looks good. With the corosion on the wheels if its around the center caps theres not alot you can do with it its a case of newwheels from citroen. Use search box and look up bellone wheel corrosion and you'll get all info you need.
