Cheers guys doubly glad that I put the work in now Mind you my step-son took umbrage I think - he went shopping to Sainsburys and came back with his DS3 very sparkly so I think he paid the roving car park cleaners to give his beastie a clean.
Oh and for those interested the original pics were taken with a Nokia Lumia 920 as reviewed here. Then reduced in size to be more manageable!

I was sat in Tescos car park the other day waiting for the other half and I was watching their carpark car washers "cleaning" cars. In the space of 20 minutes, I observed 11 cars being dropped off to be scratched.
A black 62 plate E class Mercedes was being dried with a chamois. Said chamois was dropped on the floor, picked up, given a quick flick and was then put back to work on the Merc. My eyes were hurting now at this sight Aaaaaargh. A hard working person has paid to have his nice car butchered by these, get them in and "clean" them fast cowboys.
Obviously some people are happy and content to let somebody else make their car less dirty than it was before. A recent test showed these type of cowboys inflict more damage per wash than a drive thru car wash with rollers and a jet wash with a foam brush that spends most of its time with its bristles on the ground. The damage is caused by the cowboys mostly at the drying stage.
Don't say you haven't been warned!!!!!
