Spent a summer holiday in Jersey when I was a little kid.

I'm afraid the only things I can remember are (a) watching the 1966 World Cup Final in a Jersey hotel lounge with a bunch of very boisterous Brits-on-holiday, (b) the sandflies on the beaches (c) playing hide & seek in the German Underground Hospital, where we'd retreated to escape the (d) rain; humungous amounts of rain.

Guess we were unlucky, because the sun always seemed to shine on John Nettles when he was Bergerac.
