What marker on the dipstick

As above, I cant remember and the manual is not specific saying "between the two markers".

I sort of thinking its the top nut thing.

Yes- top metal band- i go to the middle of it
There are at least 5 different dipsticks on DS3s that I have seen, this one is same as mine

Thanks Chris, I checked it in the long stay carpark which was flat, was sitting dead middle.

Mines a bit different to that, mines a flat 'blade' shape lol

But I'd go to the middle of the top band as above
