HDi Injector Problems??

Hi Folks,

Owned my DS3 for 8 months, without a hiccup! Until now that is! The car started juddering on idle last week and when driving i noticed a hesitation when coming back on power after gear changes! Then last night the car cut out on my partner when manouvering out of a driveway! I sell car parts and have just had a customer in this morning with the same issue on a 2011 1.6hdi Peugeot 3008 and we both think it is an injector fault?

Has anyone else had these symptoms or problems with injectors??

Certainly, I have a friend who is a mechanic in Citroen, waiting on him getting back to me at the minute! My car is just out of warranty too!

My car did this on the motorway and had to get the R.A.C it was a blocked fuel filter and was told never to use supermarket fuel. ???? It had been misfiring a few times earlier then went into limp

Dont tell lfc that- he's a staunch believer that supermarket fuel is ok

I prefer to base my judgement on facts and the thousands who use it (even though I don't currently) rather than a RAC man guessing by the side of the road

Mines started doing this too 3 of my injectors are playing up. Either got to get them recalibratd or changed -_-

Lol ! No way !! Since I've had the car I've only used V - power nitro diesel but I have a feeling the "lady owner" before me didn't have a clue and probably filled it with crap ! Thanks pal I hope so

Also no engine light was coming up so done a ecu diagnostic and these codes come up
(1) PO263|
(2) PO263 }
(4) PO272| Injector resetting outside tolerance

Chris_Blue will be relieved to see you've been using premium fuels, means it can't be fuel related I believe

I always use premium fuel it's in the garage at citroen now so fingers crossed they will sort it
