I prefer to base my judgement on facts and the thousands who use it (even though I don't currently) rather than a RAC man guessing by the side of the road

Erm i was not using supermarket fuel it was this guys guess my problem is with the engine rattle not the fuel this post was just to see if any other member has had this issue with injector tapping. Car has a intermittent miss at tomes too.

Has anyone on the site had issues with injector noise on the ds3 i would appreciate someones reply to this problem. Its sounds like a tappet rattle on acceleration cotreon have told me its an injector could they be reluctant to cure this problem because of the cost to them at the dealership. Major customer support problem from citreon.

No worries re the fuel, it comes up here every now and then and it's always an easy blame, seems to me incorrect though as thousands of drivers use supermarket fuels with no issues As I've said before Tesco/Asda/Morrisons never used to own refineries (unless that's changed now) so they use other manufacturers fuels

As for the noisy injectors - not experienced it on either of my DS3's the second one is just over a year old now and no issues to date (touch wood) on the engine.

Its been back into citreon again and further words from master techs told me it was injector problems but then when i go to collect the car all you get is a stupid look from the service manager who thinks he is a right clever so and so saying they all sound like that. Los of crap e a mechanic myself and know a rattle when i hear one. Never get another.
