Cruise control hesitation

Aye,

anyone else has this? It happens when I turn cruise on, run 10-30s and then slight hesitation / judder starts. Seems it's going rapidly rich-lean-rich.
Nothing major, but fu'kin annoying. Otherwise car seems fine.

Not had it happen on my diesel but I've only had it for less than 3 weeks
