Dismantling side view mirror

Calling out to anyone who has done this or knows how to do it. I need to remove the mirror/heater part of the right side mirror to see if I can fix the servo going too far in the closed position. I tried to pry the mirror part but was afraid that the mirror will break. The one time it was loose was when I hit another mirror and the mirror/heater part was left hanging by the wires. I just popped it back in, nothing seemed broken. How is the mirror supposed to come apart? Or how are you guys changed your chrome mirror covers? Any pics, tips or howtos are welcome. Thanks!

I will try to see what service box says about this and see if there is some instructions.. I actually need to do it myself mine is doing the exactly same thing..
