Got a 27mm hex socket from a supplier i wasnt aware of in Hove, and was open 8.30 on a Saturday so could collect and do today. Goodstuff (Thanks son-in-law for the info)
So oil filter came off easy, but didnt realise the sump plug had a female hex access bolt, and had a measure up of around 8 mm if anyone can confirm?

So, rather than try undo with a pair of grips, next time will get an 8mm male socket?

All went well, oil and filter change done and no leaks so far, a bit nervey working under a car with jacks and axle stands, but not paying Citroen to do it every 6k miles
