Did you happen to drive a different DS3 prior to buying this one? Does it feel the same?

It might be worth having the car checked over for tracking at a local tyre fitter.

A shot in the dark - check the gearbox mount/stabiliser...if your model has one!

Thanks all. Car had 4 new tyres when I bought it, maybe it's the tracking, checked the wheels, couldn't feel any movement???

Will pop it into a garage this week, see what they say, if it's something major it's back to the dealership, something minor and for the sake of 190 mile round trip, the garage can sort it.

Will let you know the outcome???

          Thanks again all :0)

              Update

Well, quick update for you. It hasn't stopped raining here since Sunday, and guess what?????????? The squeeky noise from the front has stopped and the ride has improved?? So, in my know nothing about cars mind, something must need lubricating? Any ideas where I should be aiming the WD40 at please??

For my squeaky seat, I pulled the seat forward, then from the rear seat, sprayed WD40 under the drivers seat so the underneath of the drivers seat was coated. Fixed it in a jiffy.

Squeaky seat is a common "feature" of the DS3's apparently.

With regards to the light steering the only thing I could suggest is to get a mechanic to give it a drive and see if he can feel anything out of place. Failing that, ask a Citroen dealership for a test drive of a similar model and compare that?

If the steering feels light have you checked the tyre pressures ? If they're pumped up too high that can make the steering feel v light

thanks all, will get it looked at, really enjoyed driving it for a day, when there were no squeaks and no vibration through the pedals. Will let you all know the outcome, thanks again
