  • changing discs - hub nut and torx size

Hi, looking for some assistance please..

I'm changing the discs and pads on my OH's DS3. Initially I was just going to do the pads, but on closer inspection the discs are for the bin. Unfortunately I'm 400 miles from my full tool kit so I just have my basic socket set.

The biggest socket I have is 30mm which is too small for the castle / hub but to remove the disc. Also, I don't have any torx bits to remove the caliper. Can anyone tell me the size of the torx (or is it hex?) bolts to remove the caliper and also the size of the hub nut?

    Much appreciated

Ok, thanks. So can anyone tell me the size of the torx bit required?

They are usually pretty similar across the citroen range. Having done it on a few cars. Id guess its a 22mm Torque.

Was the 22mm torx bit the right size Dan?

              More like a T55 torx isn't it?
