True pressure's

Hi guys recently picked up my D-sport hdi and noticed it said 2.4 bar or 35psi on inside pillar of passenger door, so I decided to check my pressures and they were 1.9 bar or 27 psi, it has the black Bellone wheels and 205/45/17 Bridgestones, can anyone tell me is 2.4 bar or 35psi correct or is that for a heavy loading, it may seem a silly question I know so my apologies.
