Since I have had my car fixed it has done it again once. I think what it is doing will bring up a problem in the future. We will see I suppose. I think there must be a weakness somewhere in the turbo system. Out of interest, what fuels are you guys using? I use shell fuel save 95 at the moment. Was using v power but it's too expensive and now I don't have my remap. Hat about you guys?

might be my ignorance, but could your remapping be causing your proplems?

No, there has been other instances with cars that have not been remapped. Does your car have a map on gar?

Valid point Alcaz1wolf....Dont think remap has anything to do with it but i'm not an expert...My turbo judder when it happens seems to be at low revs between 2000 - 4000 Revs.

I'm hoping that one of the THP engines develops the fault on the rolling road at Viezu....Hopefully they might have the answers...I will certainly raise my concerns with them.

Regarding fuels Gareth havn't taken note of what i'm filling her with to be honest.

No remap on mine, so it's not down to that.

I've been using 95 octane (some supermarket, some BP/Shell/Total)

My warning light is on continuously, & I get a message displayed on the info system on start-up saying that there's a fault with the emissions equipment, or some such.

The turbo's still coming & going at random - this morning on my drive to work it decided to work normally for a few miles, before going AWOL again.

Fuel consumption is hovering around 46 mpg, but that's par for the course when I drive it gently.

Thanks for the tip about not over-revving, Gareth. I'm nursing it along tbh, until I can get it into the menders next week

I'll be booking it in today.
check your spark plugs tho it shouldnt be them at this stage. mine did exactly the same as this (my c2) but it was due to the fact i got told i had a full service and they put shit spark plugs in, check them out. and a little word of advice if you no a mechanic get them to double check you car over before taking it to the main dealer, sometimes faults that are logged on the ecu arent always the right faults. hope you get sorted out soon tho your car should be covered on warrenty??

If you get an emmisions fault I wonder if it is to do with any kind of EGR valve that the car may have. Not sure if the petrols have those. Either that or you could have a major malfunction with one of the Lambda sensors maybe? Do you know anybody with an OBD fault code reader to tell you the fault codes?

If you look on the peugeot 207 website there is a massive section on the thp engine power loss problem. I had a 207gt thp with the 150 engine in 2008 the same as in the DS3. It kept losing power in between 2 - 3000 revs mainly in 2nd and 3rd. It went back to the dealers and after 7 attempts they coulndt fix it! I rejected the car and kept well clear of that engine. I believe the Mini has suffered similar problems with its THP engine. Anyway apparently now it is solved with a new oxygen sensor or some cars respond by resetting the ECU. Mine had the ECu reset tonnes of times but they didnt try the sensor.
I kid you not, there are are tonnes of people on the 207 forum with issues with the 150THP version of the engine - I am not sure why it is mainly that engine that suffers with power loss?
                        Have a look on there!
