well theres a question. ive had voicemail today from enterprise to say weve been told ur car is ready so need ur car bk by friday to off hire it. :S i havent been contacted by citroen to tell me its ready why the hell have they and not me. FUMING

Picking mine up tomorrow morning, after nearly 3 weeks without it.

They've replaced the VVT unit, & the technician reckons that it's now running very nicely.

Fingers crossed (again).

I'm picking up my replacement DS3 Racing tomorrow too, been without it for two months now and I really hope this one behaves!!

Picked the car up this morning.

First impressions? All seems AOK - smooth while idling, quick pick up, free-revving right up to the red line, steady surge of power at all engine speeds, etc. All the usual THP virtues seemingly restored.

Let's hope it stays that way for a while this time...

Interesting reading this. Mine's done exactly the same thing. 16k on the clock. Last Friday night, steady 55mph (waiting fo someone to catch me up - no other reason) l turn off at the airport and wham, no performance. still smooth, its as though the turbo's neen nicked. Still in the garage now - been told its a 3 day job....

They told me timing chain.. but reading all these other posts, I'm now scared!

Yep, that's what Citroen Tech advised them to tackle first on mine. Are they replacing the tensioner too?

Hopefully that'll sort out your problems.

Luckily, yes they are - just spoken to the garage, one part is on back order..... car's gonna be off the road for another week!

okayy picked car up from dealership today after them having it for 11 days and doing some "tech" checks which came up nothing. so then they changed turbo vaccum pipes :S and gave it a 140miles test drive and apparently its fine. cant see tht being it tbh but had good burn on way bk home all ok so far gd journey tomorrow see how it goes.
