Expecting to shell more money out on engine problems, I can't believe it on a nearly new car. I will wait and see what the dealership comes back with but I'm not holding my breath.
I'm in the North east so a trip to Jamie's would be costly too.

then maybe a Terraclean Intake clean would be the better option. you would need to find a local agent that does this service, not all seem to do it as it is fairly new.

You may well get "Weve got to inject a special , very expensive, cleaner into the engine" comment
        Might help for a bit

Still haven't heard anything from dealers will ring Monday. No one in my area seems to do walnut blasting,
I have been in touch with a local guy who does mobile Terraclean, I have read the posts regarding this treatment and this guy has a tool to carry out forced induction, for this clean then a Terraclean his price is £175 he states results are outstanding, smoother idle better starting more power quieter running. So as I understand it, this is the clean I require and this will clean the inlet manifold and back of valves has anyone had this done yet and if so what have been the results?
          Cheers for your help guys.

I had the inlet cleaning service done a couple of weeks back. definitely worth doing. though i only paid 80 quid for the inlet service. my guess is his service is the Inlet and full Terraclean service together, which i will be doing in January when the car is due its 3 year service..

I don't believe Citroen do walnut blasting, if they don't you could approach them and see if they'll contribute towards Jamie doing the work for you ? Good luck...
Some citreon dealers do have the equipment to do walnut blasting my local dealer does but it was cheaper to get me to take it to Jamie than it was for them to do it with there hourly labour rate which is what I ended up doing

It's been a while but car went back to dealers today after Citreon requested they ran further tests based on the data they had been given. Dealership has rang and said they have found a problem with the fuel pump which is being replaced.........I have the feeling this could be a long drawn out affair based on what I have read and comments from the guys on the forum. Not filled with confidence since the dealership originally told me it was normal and they are all like that?

Thp engines do seem to have a bit of a lumpy idle in general & do seem to tick over at low revs has taken me a while to get used to the way it idles, after the walnut blasting reduced the lumpiness at idle a new set of spark plugs almost alleviated it all together but like I said the do seem to be a lumpy at idle from what I can make out

No. Beefmasta's first 155 didnt, cos we compared his against mine mid 2013. My pipework was modified, his wasnt. Beaulieu meet from what I recall.

The BK44 may help, it did with mine but only for a few thousand miles, a second can did nothing. Walnut blast made an absolute huge difference on my 27k engine.

Darren- This is my Nov 2012 build THP 155. (Registered March 13) Notice the flat air pipe next to the battery.
Next to the flat pipe, the curved piece of pipe coming out the rocker cover is the PCV pipe outlet where you stick a catch can if you like
Will try find piccies of my 150 engine to show you the difference

Thanks Chris, I will check it out once car comes back. I'm considering catch can but car is still under manufacturers warranty at the minute, 12 plate registered March 2012 so best wait.
