  • Auto headlight issue

I've got a problem with the auto headlights on my dstyle plus. They never come on while driving (ie when it is getting dark). They come on fine when if needed when starting up. Dealers have reset the computer but still not coming on while driving!
    Any advice?

Have you tried covering the sensor to see if the lights come on?

Is the light switch in "Auto" position?

Where is the sensor? Mine wouldn't go off this morning, turned auto off and back on but they came on again and it was bright and sunny.

Windscreen sensor is outside of the interior mirror

This, in my mind, is pointing towards a failed sensor.

The light switch is in the auto position and when I cover the sensor the lights come on. The issue only arises when I am driving as it is getting dark. One for the dealer I reckon.

Try stopping the car leave the engine running then cover the sensor as if getting dark while driving see what happens.
