Not 100% happy DS3 Cabrio only 95%

So I have my car now since Aug 1st http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....080#post174080 and I really like it. Just a couple of whinges....

1) Rattles from seat belt mounts in the back, Drivers Door rattles and a knocking from somewhere in the back (driving me quite literarily up the bleeding wall)
2) I find the cars handling, at speed, over uneven roads or bumpy surfaces, really squirrelly , feels like its all over the place you feel your being bounced around in there. My previous car was a Golf so I know the setup in the DS3 is a tad more firmer or sportier. Anybody else experience the similar dynamics?

Mmm, unfortunately they do rattle, I used to have a squeak from the drivers arm rest, wd40 on the hinge of the arm rest took care of that, then I had a rattle from the glove box, folded up a MF cloth and put that between the fuse box cover and the door and now that is quiet. The only time I get a noise from the back now is if they rear seats aren't clicked back correctly (you can check by pushing the headrests from the boot and seeing if the seats move) or if the parcel shelf is loose (push the clips down onto the pins if it is).

Never driven a Cabrio but my DSport+ is firm on the road but definitely not squirrelly. Easy stuff first have you checked the tyre pressures ? As you've already noted the ride should be firm but not bouncy....

The ride should be fairly firm, altho dont get mixed up with the steering, as that gets lighter as you go up the speed range.
On my THP above 100mph its like driving on ice sometimes

I believe that happiness is a pretty figurative concept because it comes and goes, and we should appreciate every such moment.
