Pads!!

Hi all when did you change your pads. I've done 15k now from new. One of the fronts is squeaking but it's been like this for ages since about 8k. What pads do you guys use, I've heard green stuff are good.

I'm on 21k on the original pads! Interesting as they're bound to need changing soon, a friend of mine were down to the metal at 15/16k...

I got 12 months (23500 miles) out of the original pads and discs which I think is shocking! Didn't use citroen just bought some from the local auto factors for a smudge over £50 for the lot, 5000 miles in and they're performing just fine!!

You guys must be heavy footed.. I have just replaced mine at 43K. New pads and discs on the front, new pads on the rear. Interesting to note that the rear pads were pretty well gone whilst the front ones still were OK ish. Used Eurocarparts, Got Pagid discs and pads for about £70 all in. Seem pretty good to me.

My previous DS3 I did 23995 on the original pads before I traded it in. When it was serviced at 20k they said they could tell I was 'an enthusiastic driver' but they didn't need changing yet. I'm not sure how much long they would have lasted though.

I'm on 23k and my fronts are squeaking too, I spoke to the dealer and they don't think the pads will be gone yet but looking at them I don't think there is an awful lot of life left in them - enough to get to the 25k service but I'm suspecting the dealer will want to change them....

Mine squeaking a bit too probably metal against metal lol have to get them looked at soon.

Mine used to last about 10k...

Bit longer now though as use the EBC GreenStuff pads.

I'm currently on 41K but expect to change the pads and discs at the next service in a few weeks.

Mine squeak but gave up putting it in for service with no fix
