3d Rear lights misting

Hi all

As the title suggests i'm having some trouble with my 3D LED rear lights. I bought them off eBay about 12 months ago as my car never came with them as standard, so I don't have warranty to fall back on...

It seems regardless of whether its been raining or not, the passenger side light is constantly damp on the inside.

Any ideas for a quick fix?

Take it off and make sure the seal is good round the bulb section. I had water in my old ones and it was because the seal wasn't sat quite right after changing the bulbs.

Are there any cracks or chips in the units ? If not I'd think that Beefy's tip will solve the issue....

Nope, no chips or cracks.

You still will need to get all the moisture out of it.

Are DS3 lights a sealed unit? or a 2 piece unit sealed with Glue? My Advice would be to bake the lights, break the glue and seperate, then reseal the lights.

When I worked in the jewelers to stop watches misting up we would put a tiny spot of fairy liquid around the inside seal and that would absorb any moisture {we used a pin to apply not a shovel lol} Maybe give that a go just don't drown it
