  • Oil breather

    Is this oil breather pipe a common part to keep leaking/ breaking.. it's had 2 new pipes already and it's leaking again... This one has only been on car about 2mounths

    Mine leaked until I changed when I added my oil catch can.

      Any ideas how I get the bit ontop the engine off where pipe goes in so I can see why it's leaking??bit of engine plastics comes a little bit over pipe I have no idea how to get it off

        The pipe you are referring to, is held in place only from interference, there is no clip, and the top of the camshaft cover, does NOT come off.

          What they said. It is a very hokey connection, Like SFG mine leaked until installed a catch can that came with an adaptor for this port that has o-rings so it actually seals .

            Hopfuly forge oil catch can and pipes with that will solve this issue then

              I am having the same problem with my 2011 model. Someone told me that this is a common problem and the design has been changed in newer models. Trying to find the part number for the new design pipe if it exists. This post in fairly old did you find a solution?

                I'm sure the new ones have a clip which is a modified pipe.
