To help us to give the most accurate advice possible we do need some information about your car. e.g:

Model:
Year:
Engine type:
Performance modifications:
Driving style: (road / off-road / track etc)
Any other information that may be relevant: e.g. approx BHP if modified, oil temps if known
What recommendation are you looking for? Engine, Gearbox, Diff etc.

Hi Guy, Not DS3 related but one you could still probably help with

Motorcycle - Suzuki SV650S - 2010 Reg.
Typically only used for commuting but use all year.
No engine modifications.

I've always stuck to the local petrol stations branded full synth 10w-40 but happy to take any other recommendations for engine oil?

The best oils there are the Silkolene Pro 4 and Comp 4, Motul 300v, Red Line, Amsoil, Shell Advance Ultra 4 and Castrol Power 1 Racing. The Motul 5100, Castrol Power 1, Shell Advance VSX and Silkolene Super 4 are good cheaper alternatives.

looking for engine oil, I've got a 2012 Dsport+ diesel. I do a lot of short journeys through the week, but she gets a good pasting at the weekends?

I see air-filters... Anything that would fit a Ds3 2011 1.6 eHDI 90 DStyle Plus Airdream by any chance? (Cars warranty has finished)
Other than this one as I'm looking for "nicer" engine sound, and a little performance boost is always welcoming.

Sorry, but we we don't have any performance type filters for a DS3 HDi, only for the petrol ones.
