  • Ds3 thp engine light on miles from home

My ds3 the engine management light has come on as well as the radiator light, then gone into limp mode.
Green flag towed me back to my holiday villa in Yorkshire but I live in Nottingham so I will need too call them to tow it back to notts when it's time to go home.
Then it's off to the dealers to find the problem.
    Merry Xmas

Welcome to the Club Karl. (Being your first post)
Could be a lot of things, but as you mention radiator, maybe temperature sensor
How was the temp gauge whem all this happened, and water level in the reservoir?

Different temp housings between the 155 and 150

Just got car back from dealers and it was the temp sensor that was at fault,so they replaced it under the warranty.
So problem solved but when I picked up the car and started to drive out of the dealership my brake pedal was rock hard with no play so I had to use the handbrake to stop the car.
So I went back in to tell them the problem and it turns out a pipe had come off the vacuum resulting in the brakes not too work properly.
Chap fixed it in a few mins, but it's not the sort of thing you expect to happen as your driving out of dealership.
I don't think they will be getting a 10/10 score from me!

So what that means is they forgot to put it back on after changing the temp sensor.

So much for them road testing the car to check everything before handing it back

Yep looks that way,and it did say on the invoice car road tested.
Yeah right, the only good thing I surpose is the quick turn around I took car in at 1.30 and car was ready at 4pm for collection all Valeted.
