3D light bulbs???

My new DS3 has the new style 3D lights and I removed rear lights unit to see how I would change a bulb when required now rather than flap around in the unknown.

The rear panel doesn't come of like the old one to change blubs and seems to have security screws in place. Does it even have blubs now or is it a led light strips.

Check out you cars manual under changing bulbs. As for the types of bulbs in there it is both normal and leds.

Thanks Cyclone, do you know or anyone else how long do the led last compared to standard bulbs and there costs.

As a driving instructor don't want to be caught out just before a driving test.

LED bulbs should normally run for up to 80,000 hours and cost you would be looking at around a £10.

Don't forget if you have a Contract hire (lease) with full maintenance then the bulbs are covered as part of that plan.
