  • Passenger seat does not go to original position once flipped forward

    Dear all,

I have a problem with the passenger seat of my DS3 eHdi.

Once i flip the passenger seat to the front to let one of the passengers come out of the car, I cannot flip the seat back to the original position.

I have to slide the seat to the back and then locate the back of the seat by hand in the correct position again.

This can be done by lifting the release lever like you normally flip your seat to the front and then with the other hand push the back of the seat to the good position.
When i release the lever the seat is fixed again.

Does anyone recognize this problem and can you help me what is wrong?

I have the sport seats in my car btw.

    thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,

    Rick

I've had this issue. It would just flop forwards, if you sat on it, it would flop backwards.

Just the passenger side though, standard seats here. Although that being said, when it clicks in it's fine.

*ahem* you are using the right handle? What you have described happens when your passenger uses the bottom recliner lever rather then the top handle designed for moving the seat...

Ooo, I hate this so much! Stupid passengers.. First they add weight to my car, then they f*ck up the seat position..

Haha true thing if passengers use that handle.

But no this is the behavior of the seat when i use the release handle on the top of the seat.
