  • Rear washer - washer fluid going in the trunk

    Hi!

I'm having a small problem with my rear washer on my DS3.
When I use it the washer fluid isn't going on the rear window, but it's ending up in my trunk.

I quick guess is that the hose somehow has fallen of. But how do I access the hose, so I can reconnect it? Can I dismount the brake light from the outside, or do I have to do something on the inside?

I would suggest you take a look where the hose passes the hinge, in those rubber linings it could be a leakage due to bending.
Otherwise u have to dismount the panel from the boot lid to have a look.

The hose passes down the right side bottom edge of the boot, right under the bottom of the sidewall trim, then up the rear pillar can see it when take off the brake light access panel.

You've got a mini fountain in your boot? Never knew Ds3's came with that option!

Side note. I see a lot about water problems with these cars. Then again, Im not on another car forum so I wouldn't know if this is mostly a Ds3 thing, or just a general thing will all cars...
