Hi, Ok here goes. I'm just about to change cars and need some help.
    1. I have 3 kids - 16, 12 and 5, we aint always in the car at one time (5 of us) and was wondering on room in the back????
    2. Would i better better off in a Qashqai?
    3. Petrol or Diesel? Citroen DS3 1.6 DStyle 120bhp or Citroen DS3 1.6TD DStyle 90bhp. I'm currently driving a 08 plate Fiat Bravo 120bhp Diesel and dont want to lose the nippyness of it. So are both models nippy enough?
    4. Its the whole mpg thing for me but as i said i dont want to lose any speed about town or on the motorway. I currently get about 40mph avergae with the Bravo (for a diesel thats rubbish) I drive in and out of glasgow everyday about a 15 mile journey both ways.

    5. Colour - Belle ile Blue white roof?? Anyone got one or the Boticelli with white roof? Post some photos please to make up my mind.

Thanks for the help. Was thinking of making up a Facebook Group with a chatroom?? Anyone interested in joining if i did?

Certainly room for 2 large Kids in the back (mine are 19 & 26), mine is the 1.6Hdi 90hp diesel, nippy enough and road fund license @ £20/yr. I thrash mine and still get 50mpg.......WTF is a Qashqai,

            John answered everything there.

The power is there throughout the ranges and the diesels give terrific MPG figures. With regards to space in the back I've done a few long drives with some of the lads and although more leg room is a requirement for some of the taller guys there's certainly enough room.
My only qualm with the rear seats is the leather. Countless time's I've seen someone jump in the seat behind the front passenger and get out of the door on the drivers side when we're done xD

With regards to a chatbox. A DS3 group already exists on facebook, if you upgrade to full membership you also gain access to a few more forums and a "shoutbox" which we use as a chatroom

              Hi lifelines, welcome aboard!

Loads of pics on here, and elsewhere on the net - just put DS3 into google images.

Botticelli is definitely an acquired taste.

The rear is OK for 2, but a tight squeeze across for 3. I reckon the DS3 will be narrower than your Bravo. Legroom is OK for those under 6'. Access to the rear seats is a bit of a pain, but no worse than in other smallish 3 doors.

Qashqai just screams daddywagon or OAP. Don't do it!

Well on the rear space point. Yesterday I had 3 full sized adults which let's say don't hold back on food and had no complaints.

Also if you do go for the 110 hdi u will be thoroughly satisfied

The rear space in the DS3 is not going to be as big as the Nissan 'Cash-cow' but thats not the point of the DS3 anyway! Best thing to do is stuff your family into one and see how they feel, plus think about how often they will be with you in the car.

DS3 wise best one the look at is one of the Collection models as you get good spec for £14,495 with the 90hp HDi diesel. Colour wise I would suggest you look through the DS3 pictures as most members have posted pictures and I think one is of the colour your asking about.
