  • ESP/ASR Fault - Airsport 1.6 diesel

    Hi Guy's, First time posting!

Hopefully I might be able to get some good advice from other users here.

This morning my car was stationary at a set of lights when the ESP/ASR come up on the display and stayed on, there was also an error message
saying ESP/ASR fault. I panicked a little and turned off the engine when it was still in eco mode and turned it over again, nothing has come up since, however, I am
conscious of this as the weather is on its way to turning bad. Is this something I should be worried about and should I speak to the place I bought my car as it
wasn't a citroen dealer I bought it from?

My manufacturers warranty is due to expire in March when the car becomes 3 years old??

Cheers Guys and Thanks in advance. :ds3:

I had the exact same thing.. It turned out to be a broken abs sensor on the o/s rear.. Apparently the aren't covered so are subject to stone damage. I think the sensor cost is around £60... But if the abs ring is scored then you need to replace the whole disc..
