Best Oil For Diesel + Hard Driver ?

Right Guys,

Well Just Checked My Oil And It's Dangerously Low...

I Know There's Loads Of Different Types Of Oil Vicosity Aswell As Different Brands Etc But Basically I Just Want To Know What Is The Best Type Of Oil To Use In My Derv + Taking Into Account That Im A Very Hard / Violent Driver lol

Don't have an oil to recommend, but bear in mind that for warranty Citroen will expect to find Total Oil in the engine. Not sure if Citroen would reject a claim on the engine if you use different oil but I wouldn't want to find out!

The book says Total Quartz INEO ECS 5W-30 Its a synthetic Anti Pollution oil, I guess bearing in mind Bigs comments that would be the oil to use

Normally a dealer won't check the oil type just that it's there, but warranty parts do go to Citroen and are checked as part of a claim and they might check which oil is being used.
