  • bov differences.

my car is a 1.6 thp
its my other halfs daily driver

she loves the dump valve noise

    my question is simple

ive seen the forge bov adaptor, , and a £30 cheap version of it.

you reckon there would be any reason to avoid the cheap one?

edit- thought you meant the 2 different forge ones
Some one will be able to answer for you.

I've got the Forge adaptor. (yeah I know, why not the full recirc valve? Because it's too expensive for me at the moment, and I like a turbo sound ) But it's really loud. Maybe I'm removing it again when the weather gets better, because then I'll be driving with the windows opened, and I'll hear how loud/annoying/chav it really is.

        she likes the noise.
        only reason its going on,

cant justify £70 when there is one for £30 that can do same job.

just want to make sure it wont damage the car

The only thing that can go wrong is the seal being of poor quality, not much else can be faulty, since it's just a single machined piece with a seal...

            that's what I thought.

get one ordered, see how it goes

Only thing with the adaptor is that the slightest press on the accelerator will make the noise. Really really sensitive.

Yeah but if you just accelerate for a brief moment from say 65-70mph then let off, you'll get the full noise. Happens at most speeds to be honest.

If she likes the noise (like me) she won't mind the sensitivity!

I'd drive Dangerousfish's just to psshhtooowww to the shops and back!

Don't get me wrong, I'd still go for one. I love the noise, I just wish it was just a little less sensitive.
