When ever I stop at the lights, engine cuts out but then comes back on after about 20 seconds by its self without pressing the clutch everytime, is that normal? :-)

Have a search around the forum of look at Bigfeet's forum signature as I think it has links to the conditions required for the stop/start to work
Basically it needs to meet a series of conditions (incl. storing a charge) for it to work. I do quite a lot of long journeys and after a trip to Liverpool mine will remain in stop mode for many minutes.... Longest it stayed like that was around 13 minutes I think.
On average it will stay in stop mode for a few minutes on my drives
Here's a link to the guide from Biggie's page - http://www.mediafire.com/view/?qv91jg9bpd4hhheLast edited by lfcrule1972; 16-02-2015, 20:50.sigpic

Hi matt30, we just came back to a DS3 and bought the DS3 110 Airdream diesel this time, when we took out last week for the first tome the wife thought it was cutting out too until we found it was the stop/start version, the garage had not told us and we had not realised it either, I read the manual when we got home and found a switch to turn this off on the right ride of the steering wheel if you want, but she finds it works really well when you know how it works, it goes into eco when doing less than about 12 mph and your in neutral near, it immediately kicks in again when you put in gear.
