    Welcome to the Club Pcorb
    Not sure you can

If you do as GEI says, don't half save some petrol
I tried it for a full tank a couple year back
Almost 100 mile better off from what I remember

Very hard work following the GEI. Acceleration is always stumped LOL
So I gave up and just put my foot down
You forget GEI illumination after a while

I use WTF suggestion for the digital clock, when late for a meeting Ha!

Not sure if it's possible to disable this via a Lexia, I'd imagine it is.

Take it into the dealers and see if they can disable it

That's something a lot of people don't really get/know about a GEI. The GEI is only to be followed when cruising at constant speed. When you're accelerating you can (must even) go into higher revs and still be efficient. During accelerating at a normal rate (not flooring it), it is actually more efficient to change gears at higher revs then 2000.

Thats really interesting FLP - do you have a technical explanation for this - or a link to any data?

You get better mpg going downhill IN gear than out of gear.
There......I've made your prediction come true

                              Just don't look at it

As far as I'm aware there is no function to switch the display off. You will find after a time you will automatically ignore it.
