  • Fixed the noise from rear view mirror

    Hi Guys,

The noise was driving me insane listening to the buzzing noise from the rear view mirror recently, so I took the plunge and pulled it apart. It turns out it was the wiring that was just vibrating against the front windshield when driving, so all
I did was tape up the wire around the mounting of the mirror. This car seems prone to dash rattles and vibrations.
I have attached some photos of it taken apart, you can see where its came apart from the old factory tape.

    Nice job!

Had one of two DS3's with the same problem which we cured by stuffed a piece of foam into the cowling.

How does it come apart? I have a slight rattle somewhere, not sure it's this but if it's easy enough to do then I might as well check.

Here is a guide to the cover, all we did was push some foam in from the side and that stops the rattle.

Easy enough to come apart just use a thin piece of plastic credit card thickness to prize it in two at the bottom it's all plastic clips
