Help! Oil Catch tank 1.6 THP

Can anyone help me I am wanting to buy an oil catch tank for my THP but I don't know were to buy the hose kit for it.

Got my pipework from Ebay, Oil resistant too. Saikou Michi OCC direct from USA

First off welcome
For hoses you will have to figure out what size nipples on the can, the valve cover, and the intake then buy the apropriat oil resistant hose and any adaptors you need to fit it all together along with fabricating a mount for the can. If you want a complete package then Forge=expensive but everything will bolt right up, BSH=need to make a bracket to mount the can all the hoses and adaptors will work. Saikou Michi do not know anything about it. Another quality can is radium engineering but would have figure out all the hoses adaptors mounting yourself.

A cheap ebay one will suffice, no need to spend any more than £30 for all it does is catch oil vapour. Buy cheap, open it and fill the bottom with stainless steel wire wool, buy a 90 degree bracket from B&Q and buy the hoses from either ebay or google, I used radiator hose 15mm. You will also need 19mm to 15mm reducers if its a 15mm catch can and hose and a pair of 45 degree angle silicone pipe 25mm to 19mm. Some hose clamps as well to go.

Going by whats on here and what Jamie showed in his glass, I'd be catching the rear stuff first unless your blanking off the rear and catching the breather pipe going into the turbo. All the gunks on my rear breather pipe and turbo pipe is dry.

Do yourself a favor and read what Czar has to say about the construction of a catch can. Then realize why good ones cost a bit and how much failure is in your statement.

Fairy liquid bottle with tissue paper, a fraction of the price of your recommendation and about as useless.

well I'm not going to get into a argument here if your willing to blow £300 quid or £100 on a fancy heated catch can be my guest, the engine bay is hot enough as far as im concerned. Seeing as most have caught the front you catch the vapour, catch the back and you catch the oil, at least on mine it is.

A high price will not guarantee you a good catch can. A can that is well engineered and tested, on it's intended application, is what will get you a high quality product and 30 pounds will not get you that. It is just impossible to recoup development costs and ensure good materials/craftsmanship at that price point. Sometimes you just pay for a name and others you pay for the knowledge that is behind the product. The hard part is figuring out which is which.

Forge catch can is extremely pricey- is it round £350. Much too much. And its sits above the engine,when its better lower down. Common sense dictates that comment
19mm outlets are important too- most cans are 15mm outlets
Sai kou Michi can with sight tube for me- about £120, then sourced oil/heat/ water resistant tubing

Fabricating the supporting bracket was the biggest pain- took a few hours of patience
