Seats in our car heat up in a snap and you realy can feel it... Been messing with the missus, turning the heater on when she leaves the car.

Its suposed to be summer and its chilly in the morning. Heated seats would just be so nice.
The gear knob is soooooo cold in the morning because of the chrome, gonna get stuck to it.

has it been confirmed yet that the heating element is actually installed in the UK seats?

Just a thought................ I would assume that heated seats are tested prior to being fitted at the trim line, it might be the case that seats with a failed heating element might be side tracked to cars where they are destined never to be connected up. This would avoid the time and cost consuming job of stripping down the seat to fit a new element. You might be looking at wiring up a faulty seat.

Just get a fat arse; you'll soon warm the seat up and save yourself hundreds of pounds!

Nearly 4 years later... anyone ever got round to trying this?
I've found heated leather seats in France and am considering driving over in the Easter weekend. Would they fit (being LHD, only 'passenger' side height adjustment??) and how can I hook them up?
