Fuel Gauge dosent work!

i have a ds3 1.6 turbo diesel and the fuel gauge dosnt seem to work properly. today i brimmed it full off fuel, and the gauge still shows half full?! also the fuel spills back upthe neckof the tank really quickly. could this be related to it? HELP!!!

Sounds like a faulty fuel level sender. Take it in for warranty.

As for the fuel spilling up the neck of the tank, most likely unrelated unless there is a blockage. The fuel bowser you're filling from could have just too high a flow rate, or not quick enough (if any) auto cutoff.

you have filled it too much
you will have to just run the car as normal. Do not worry, you will NOT run out of fuel but it will EVENTUALY rectify itself
you obviously went past the 3rd click at full

when I first got mine I did the same that's why I know
I reset my trip counter & watched how many miles I was doing
