  • Alternator Belt Tensioner Failure

While My car was in having the complete exhaust system changed under warranty it was noticed that the tensioner on the alternator had failed I thought the noise was because the Front exhaust bracket had sheared off but noooo it was the tensioner giving up the ghost

So my car was left behind to get it all replaced and I left with a C1 .................the best bits are the touch screen radio panel and does it have a engine ?

OR just a sound generator

Yep, I had a C3 when mine was in the dealers last, not a great car but it allowed me to get to work and back that day. Normally they drop me back at work and then pick me up again when the car is ready - I'm happy with that service

My 115 hdi Dsport plus is in the garage as we speak. The stop n start system was making a noise when the clutch pedal was engaged. It transpires that the alternator drive belt tensioner as failed and needs replacing along with the belt. I have been given a C4 Picasso hdi to get me from a to b. Nice car to drive but cannot wait to get my DS3back.
