  • AGR fault? 110 EHdi engine problem

    Hi all,
My 2012 EHdi 110 lost power following and engine fault while accelerating onto a motorway.
Said AGR fault, now just says engine needs repair. Will read codes later
The engine oil look contaminated so has me worried.
Orange engine light lit up. Service light also came on when the fault first happened, doesn't light up since restarting the car.
    Limited to <2800 Rpm.
Mpg increased significantly as a result, assuming no boost.
Anyone had this issue or know what it is/how to fix?

Possibly the same, couldn't find this in the search, hopefully an easy fix :-)

What was the repair cost when you had yours done?

It was going to be done under warranty, although I then had a blow out on the M25 and the car was written off so the original DS3 never went in for the work.

I'd be guessing as I have no idea on the labour cost but my dealer said the parts were cheap and it was quite straightforward to fix - hope yours is the same

Fault code using some old software with the ELM327 says the air flow meter has the fault... Would this result in the same error message of ASR/ESP fault on the dash??
Also, can anyone point in the right direction for the Citroen diagnostic equipment (DIY version), garage price appears to be same as the full kit from amazon just to look at the car... (pp2000 Lexia) is this the right one?

Vehicle fault cleared its self after the car entered economy mode after the radio froze :-)
Drive like normal now also :-s

You actually need to get diagbox mine came with Lexia 3. Pp200 etc
Lexia 3 is ok but doesn't get updated that often and is out of date now I got mine off eBay. But your still looking at around £90

                  The fault is back.
New software, the DiagBox, doesn't seem to want to connect to the car, says I need to re-install :-/

Looking on the C4 owners club, a blocked fuel filter can cause this fault also?
                    Anyone know more about it?

I did have this fault recently, can't remember the exact code but something like p0027 possibly, but took it into a dealer who changed the fuel filter and all has been good since.

I use something similar to an ELM327 and the Torque Pro app to read codes.

                        Cool, thanks for the reply.
I have been considering getting an android phone just for the torque pro app. The diagbox software won't work with my elm327 :-(

Will get the filter changed ASAP, though I've only used Shell V-Power + fuel so it shouldn't have become blocked with such low mileage...

Managed to get my software working somehow, says the fault is caused by an over boost condition. "P0234"
Any Ideas on the cause and possible rectifications?

Overboost condition is the Turbo producing a boost pressure above the parameters on the ecu, mine has been up to 22p.s.i and is o.k. but 23p.s.i and has thrown up a mass air flow fault and more recently the overboost condition,I just ensure I don`t go above 22 p.s.i on the boost gauge on my Torquepro app and will get this fault reset.
