Servicing - main dealer or independent?

So, I've had my service done at Mark Lightfoot Citroen in Ilkeston - £132 incl the usual, diagnostics check and reset, brake fluid change and VAT. It's purring now. I was pleased with the work and the customer service I received (the young mechanic even cleaned some bird poop off my paintwork). There was no fuss or hassle. I booked it in, dropped it off, they gave me a rough indication of how long it would take and phoned me a few hours later as promised to say it was ready to collect. They were friendly and polite - sadly something that seems to be missing a lot of the time these days. I'll definitely take it there next year without any qualms. In fact, hubby's even considering taking his Jag there for a bit of general maintenance.

I have used them before and always happy with there service. Once my warranty is finished I will use them for service
