How do I remove Ds3 heater air vent on passengers side?

My passengers side air vent has collapsed inside. How do I access it to realign it? It doesn't look like any things snapped or broken.. It's just moved out of place.

Rather then trying to remove the vent why not get a pair of needle nose pilers and pull the splines back into place?
