  • Folding wing mirrors, passenger door mirror not folding???

    Hello!
I'm new the the DS3 Club, so hello everyone!

I'd appreciate any help & advice please.
    I have a DS3 THP 155 DSport Plus, 14 plate.

The drivers side wing mirror folds in & out fine when locking & unlocking car, however the passenger mirror only moves about 2 inches in & out.

Any ideas? Is it a common fault?

    Thanks in advance,
    Debbie

    Welcome to the club !

Try the similar threads box at the bottom of this page Once you've posted your topic you will see a list of similar posts that might be able to help, these appear at the foot of the page. From memory this might've been reported before, for some reason I'm thinking the cable that pulls the mirrors in might need replacing....

I'd get it back to the dealer for fixing under warranty - good luck

      Welcome to the club

As Chris says, take it into the dealer, it should be fixed under warranty.

One thing to try first is to push the mirrors out towards the bonnet and then action the folding system, this might help to re-locate the pin for the passenger side.

Hi, did you have any joy with this? Only had my Ds3 two weeks and my drivers side one just stopped working this lunch time :-(

Just to add, after reading other threads, it moves a little bit when I lock/unlock the car, just not the full movement as it was yesterday! Had to happen an hour after parts place shut on a Saturday lunch :-(

Hello I'm new here to the DS3 club, I came across this thread as I googled what to do in the same situation with my mirror I noticed that my passenger side mirror doesn't fold in only by about 2inch. Was just wondering were the pin was for the folding system? Thanks Leanne

                          Hi and welcome Leanne

I believe the pin is located within the mirror case (so not visible from the outside). Did you try Bigfeet's tip above at post #6 ?

I think you need to do this with the mirrors in the open position
