Car not starting !!!

Had a few problems with car yesterday. So decided to try and reset computer by disconnecting the battery I waited 30 mins with the battery still disconnected I then pulled each fuse by fuse checking them and putting them back where they come from started in engine fuse box then into fuse box behind glove box all fuses where ok I then reconnected battery and car started displaying fault codes on dash Now brake lights are on permanent car key don't do anything apart from making needles sweep over like they do hen you first. Switch on on the dash it's showing that the side and headlights are on but they are not have brake system failure on dash board warnings. Connected to diagabox and gave about 15 fault codes brought up in engine ecu abs. And airbags compleatly No idea. On what's wrong anyone have any ideas carnt see how pulling fuses with battery disconnected and waiting 30 mins has caused so many issues

I'm no expert, but all can suggest is to disconnect the battery again for just 5 minutes to reset everything, Google all the fault codes to see if a lot of them point to the same thing, and failing that, try to disconnect any mods like night time drl's in case that has caused it. Good luck!

Battery has been shut off all night tried all that. Most of the fault codes are for abs and no signal to starter and air bags

Maybe it is an earth lead fault causing all your issues

would start at the ECU which pretty much controls everything.

not sure if there are suppressors protecting the ECU from interference, but if there is and they've gone, then that would cause it
Or capacitors gone belly up

If you have jump start cables, try to connect one between the negative side of the battery to the engine direct.

Going to be looking into Ecu. Now but Lexia and diagabox have brought up 19 faults altogether in abs ,engine and air bags. Jamie from sp tuning said try to delete them tried that too but with out any luck has it don't Recognise that the key is being turned. So can not delete them regarding
AA or RAC. BECAUSE card already broken down they want 12 months cover paid up front and A premium on top due to already being broken down AA want £295 up front RAC Want £345 but both said they might not be able to fix it

Wow- that's a lot for Roadside assistance. I known RAC does the bit where if you are a member and a passenger in another car- that car is covered

Cant you find a passenger who is willing to sit in your car and call the RAC :redface:

As for ECU problems, mine recently went belly up and had it replaced. As it happens, there was another DS3 in for the very same thing. Makes you wonder.....

Theres a mobile mechanic round my way that used to come out for a one off £50 to have a look for 15mins, but made no promises he could fix

How much did you get charged for Ecu or was it done under warranty

done under warranty, as only 24 month old
just shows the ECUs aren't foolproof

Yeah it hey are so temperamental oh well need to wait till Tuesday then see when they can get me in

No just dropped battery live off and waited 30 mins for I done anything but ,ought try that too
