Best oil for my engine?

Ive been meaning to ask for a while now so can any of you guys tell me what is the best oil for the DS3?

It's the 1.6 120bhp. Been told Castrol oil is the best, but not sure which one would i should purchase. Plus if i change oil brand, will it void any warrantys?

I know Citroen use Total oil. but looking for some thing better.

Don't they get arsey over the warranty if you don't use the grade of oil specified in the handbook?

But provided you use the right spec of oil, I can't see that they can insist on owners using Total as opposed to another brand.

Although Handbook mentions one thing, i really doubt legally they can make you use only one Brand of oil.

I guess as long as its not made from tree sap your ok

The warranty is a legal contract guys and thus in order to maintain it you have to abide by the conditions of it, which would include the oil.

Lol. Ok there probably was a thread made on oil, but i dont think it included which viscosity grade of a different brand would be best suite the non THP engine.
