Big Engine movement on starting

Hi All

Can someone confirm or not if this is a common problem.

Car is a 2010 HDI DSport, when i start it it feel like the whole engine is moving back and forth and the whole car wobbles bad, once started its not that bad but you can still feel the car wobbling while in tick over.

I am thinking more on the lines of engine mounts ???? if so any idea on cast to replace them inc labour ???

Any help appreciated.

I would check the bottom engine mount, I've seen one split before at work ��

Also can you recommenced a independent Citroen garage i can take it to ????

No it won't be visible, the engine shield underneath may hide it, if you can jack it up and get underneath you might see it but I might be tight. Be better up on a ramp to see it more clear. Shame you don't live near Essex I would of had a look. Let me know the out come ��

3rd engine mount is visible & can be changed yourself easy job but better if can get it on a ramp not expensive really either can even get reinforced nylon insert so should last longer

Hi Jay, i do live in Essex, Harlow !!!!

I have checked the bottom mount, it looks fine, however i think its the N/S gearbox mount that has gone as i can rock the engine some 2" but not on the O/S

Where can i get mounting part codes from, except the stealers !!

Going to change all three while i have the chance. !
