Changing rear spring

As the title says I'm changing the rear spring. I've took the shock bolt out and stuff but there is only so much movement from the rear axle and so I can't push it down far enough to remove the spring. Was just wondering if there is another way to remove the spring without spring clamps/pullers? I can get some pullers but not till Thursday. So rather get it done now while it's ib the air

push down harder you will not break anything.
