  • Removing the handle to lean the seat forward.

Hi guys I am in the process of fitting the new covers for my seats. They are the sport seats and I have done the back seats, that was the easy part. Now started on the passenger seat and I am trying to remove the leaver for tilting the seat forward and cannot figure out how to get it off. So far I have taken one screw out of the surrounding part that doesn't move, and the actual leaver just seems to be molded onto the metal bracket that pulls the cable.
Just here to ask if anyone has had any experience with this ?

    Thanks

Never mind, it is done a bit of carful brute force and it's off. The metal bracket just has a little piece that is punched through and the plastic just grips on there. Thanks for the help guys.

Removing the handle to lean the seat forward is a common technique used in some cars to access the back seats. To get here Unfair dismissal and learn more ways for general protection. The seat can be moved forward, providing more space to get in and out of the back. However, it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions and use caution when attempting this maneuver, as improper handling can cause damage to the seat or the vehicle.
