Just to add my 10p worth my dsport with city pack: on lock has a continuous light of the indicators and mirrors fold in and on open it indicators flash like mad and mirrors open. the mirror button on inside of drivers door when moved backwards folds mirrors in and out as required on the move etc. when dead locking i get 2 longer flashes of the indicators, the tech guy at the dealers said this is how it should be when they did the hand over.

Sound more like to me that the PDI was not done correctly. At PDI the car is 'taught' what equipment it has on board and that equipment functions right from the interior light to the radio, etc.

I would hazard a guess that that your dealer will need to plug the car in and check all the settings.

For the record when a DS3 locks on one press the indicator will emit a long flash, with two presses (deadlocks) it will be two long flashes. When the car unlocks the indicators will blink rapidly for about 3-5 seconds. If your car is equipped with the City Signature pack then the mirrors will fold in on lock and open on unlock. If the lock 'bounce' and the interior flashes then there is a door, boot, bonnet open.

Ok just to update you all, the first call I got from Citroen was to tell me they could not work out what was causing the problems! they had to wait to take advice apparently. Now they have identified there is a wire missing from the wiring loom which should go to the mirrors. They have ordered a new loom which will be fitted on Thursday. As for the alarm, this apparently is an issue with the bonnet and will be fixed at the same time on Thursday. Strangely the alarm seems to be working now despite them telling me they had not repaired it yet!

Just to add to add to my initial misery with this car I managed to get a serious stone chip in the windscreen the other day and now need a new windscreen!!
