  • Puncture repair kit.

First flat in 18 years used the kit, got me home, can I replace the foam or is it a new kit?

Had a look online and nothing and the hand book states return to dealer? Any ideas?

I'm sure the canister comes out of the kit but what I don't know is if you can buy just the goo - I'd have thought you could otherwise it's v wasteful !

I'd call your dealer and ask them the cost

So you can get the cannister on its own - check ebay though as it's £25 and some of the complete kits are similar in price, not sure what Citroen will charge for one at a dealers

The foam bottle can be bought at any Citroen dealer.

Just had a look at the compressor pump in daylight looks easy enough to replace, downside is no one tells you that tyre places won't touch a repair once the foam is in it, didn't know that, new tyre costing £118 not happy!

I've heard this before, tyre places just don't like the goo

That's why I have the spare wheel kit, less hassle overall and more useful than trying to repair tyre damage with goo

That would be your tyre place being lazy.

Anyway I would never repair tyre, I always buy a new one.
