  • Auto locking when car running but stationary

When I get my car out of my garage with engine running if I go and then lock my garage -will my ds3 stay unlocked

Having read some comments I cannot ind out if its safe for me to leave my car for a min or 2 while I get the car out and leave the engine running.
It wont auto lock on me will it?

    can someone tell me please

If the car is running it will remain unlocked - the auto locking only works if the car is off and and locked, you then unlock the doors but don't open any of them (or the boot) it will then lock itself after a short period of time

^ the other auto lock feature (if on) will arm the doors but only above speeds of 6 MPH.

It's probably not advisable to lock the garage door with the engine running

And why the hell not. Start car, pull out of garage, get out of the car, walk to garage, close the damn door and lock it get back in car, go to work. People all over the world do it every day.

Along with the art of reading comes the art of comprehension, or at least it should.

But it's a fair point, I don't read anything properly, hence my, cough, ahem 'agreement' with Liam
