  • Outside air temperature reading -30C

    Good Afternoon everyone,

I got in my car today and noticed my outside air temperature is reading -30C on my display. I assume this is due to a faulty Outside temperature sensor?

Does anyone know where the sensor is located please? I would expect it to be in the front grill but can not find anything, also does anyone know how much a new sensor will be, and how easy it is to fit?

My car is going back to the lease company in 2 weeks, I could do without this headache

    Thanks
    Rich

If it's leased you should be still under warranty, take it in to your dealer, they should fix it.

It is that little tit on the bottom of the outside mirror, Don't remember which mirror but there is only one sensor so easy enough to figure out.

Thanks everyone, Ive just had my Drivers Mirror resprayed, so i wonder if that's effected things, I see the mirror is a PITA to take apart

Hopefully me wiggling it around has sorted the fault.
