Point to note though, when Citroen designed the DS3, they positioned the oil filter first and built the rest of the car around it, this will make sense when A) you try to find it and B) you try to remove it.
If you remove the air intake which isn't hard, (couple jubilee clips) removing the oil filter is pretty easy- 27mm 1/2" socket is useful, with long stem for the wratchet
